Job Overview

A law firm seeks a General Liability Attorney for its Pittsburgh, PA office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and contribute to a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.

Duties

• Evaluate new files and manage client communications.
• Produce discovery and conduct legal research.
• Prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law.
• Prepare and argue discovery, substantive, and dispositive motions.
• Attend pretrial listings and participate in trials.

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license in good standing in Pennsylvania.
• 5-7 years of insurance defense experience required.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Certifications

• Active Pennsylvania Bar License
