Duties

• Analyze evidence, including medical records and investigative findings.
• Interview clients and witnesses, and consult field experts.
• Research statutes and case law to prepare legal documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to determine case strategies.
• Resolve cases through mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Participate in marketing initiatives such as podcasts and blogs.

Requirements

• Active member of NC Bar Association required.
• Active member of SC Bar Association preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in personal injury pre-litigation or litigation preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency in writing, research, negotiation, and public speaking required.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills required.
• Experience with SmartAdvocate Software is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
