Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law firm, is seeking a Bankruptcy Associate (2-4 years) to join its Seattle office. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to work on sophisticated insolvency and restructuring matters.

About the Role

The Associate will represent debtors, creditors, and other parties in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. This role offers hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced insolvency practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in Chapter 11 cases and related litigation


• Draft motions, pleadings, and plan documents


• Negotiate DIP financing and cash collateral orders


• Advise on out-of-court workouts and restructurings

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in bankruptcy or restructuring law


• Strong writing and advocacy skills


• Licensed to practice in Washington

Compensation

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $235-$265k per year, with bonus potential up to $106,000. This is an estimate based on the office location.
