**Job Description Summary**
This ACSC Shop Quality Engineer will lead quality for a portion of the ACSC operation. Seeking a strong candidate that can lead through the return of the aviation repair industry, with work volume returning and new product introduction volume increasing as well.
**Job Description**
**Production Support:**
Provide committed presence and support for Production Meetings, work cell and plant shift changeover meetings, NPI and Inspector Meetings
Deliver on data-based analysis and collaborate across functions to develop countermeasures to address Rework/turn backs/losses
Drive accountability for effective, robust and timely internal audit finding RCCA
Be a trusted, responsive Qualify focal point for business support (ex. shop inquiries, Manual and SOP/QCWI Interpretation, etc)
**Surveillance, Quality System Management and Regulatory Compliance:**
Drive accountability for timely responses to Quality Concern Reports
Drive accountability for effective, robust and timely RCCA for shop escapes
Execute timely Quality System & work station audits
Facilitate Quality System maintenance/response to changing conditions
Deliver on KPIs for GEA Quality Pillars and initiatives (ex. Quality Excellence Program, Predictive Quality Assessment)
**Customer and Warranty Support:**
Lead Quality response to customers and partners regarding certification issues
Drive accountability for effective, robust and timely investigation and RCCA for customer disruptions and develop shareable summaries for Customer Service
Lead escape management on warranty claims
**NPI:**
Own Engineering Doc Review & Approval (RSS, AC205, Routers, Planning, Data Sheets, NPI)
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 3 years of related experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of related experience).
**Desired Skills:**
Aviation industry experience desired.
Aircraft engine repair experience desired.
Combustor knowledge a huge plus.
