Profile

Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law firm, is seeking a Commercial Finance Associate (1-3 years) to join its Los Angeles office. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to work on sophisticated financing transactions for a diverse client base.

About the Role

The Associate will represent lenders and borrowers in a variety of commercial finance transactions. This role offers hands-on deal experience, direct client contact, and mentorship from experienced finance practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured financing transactions


• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security agreements, and related loan documents


• Conduct due diligence and manage closing checklists


• Advise clients on structuring and regulatory matters

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in commercial finance or banking law


• Strong drafting and negotiation skills


• Licensed to practice in California

Compensation

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $160-220k per year. This is an estimate based on the office location.
