Job Summary

This position is at FreeWheel, a **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. company. The Product Operations team leads the product organization in developing best practices, propagating new ideas, and creating empowered product teams. From ideation through adoption, we are accountable for the processes and tools that product use to create world-class technology. Product Operations creates the conditions for success within the FreeWheel product team by being the catalyst for operational improvement. By owning the practices, processes, and tools, Product Operations creates the culture for the product organization. As the Product Operations Manager, you will own major initiatives that will mold the FreeWheel product methodology for years to come. You will be a change agent, skilled executor, organization designer, and cultural champion. You will report directly into the Sr. Director of Product Operations. Key responsibilities will include driving new process implementations, supporting the product organization cadence and practices, collaborate with teams across the company, and empower product teams to succeed at their work.

Job Description

Responsibilities

-Drive product organization improvement initiatives and transformations across product and cross-functional stakeholders

-Foster a culture of discovery and experimentation within the product organization

-Own tools and processes used by the product team including JIRA, Confluence, Balsamiq, Aha!, etc.

-Instill a culture of outcome-based goal setting

-Enable the product team by maturing and evolving the product operating cadence

-Influence the continuous evolution of software development processes

-Coordinate with international counterparts in Europe and Asia

-Perform other duties and responsibilities necessary to support the product organizatio n

About You

Required

-5 years of experience working within a product-lead organizations

-3 years working in Product Mana gement , Product Operations , or an Operations function.

-A deep understanding of product management practices in a commercial, fast paced, global technology company

-A continuous learner who is continually invested in bettering themselves and exploring new operating concepts

-Experience running change programs in complex organizations

-Feels a strong sense of ownership while solving problems

-Adaptable to take on a wide range of tasks ranging from designing process to organizing all-hands meetings to project management

-Easily build s trust with teams and individuals (both local and remote) through effective interpersonal skills and action-oriented execution

-Demonstrates comfort engaging with varied audiences from engineers to executives both written and verbally

-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar experience

-Ability to attend off-hour conference calls occasionally to coordinate with counterparts in other time zones

-Ability to travel domestic and internationally periodically

Desired

-Strong working knowledge of Lean UX, Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, Agile, etc.

-Experience working at a B2B enterprise software company

-Background in Advertising Technology (AdTech)

-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SmartS heet, JIRA, Aha!, and Confluence

-Experience working with Objectives and Key Results (OKR) frameworks

-Working knowledge of Tableau and/or Looker

-Based in New York, NY
