Description:
The School of Education is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Compliance Officer in the School of Education. This is a part-time staff position that serves to collect, upload, manage, analyze, and report data from the School of Education for program, university, state, and federal government requirements and to serve as licensure specialist for current and prospective teaching candidates and graduates. This person will work with the Dean of the School of Education and the Director of Teacher Education to recruit, advise, and guide students through the degree and licensure process. This person also will provide support to education faculty for marketing, institutional effectiveness, coursework, and training for state licensure requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
A master’s degree in an education or business field is preferred, and a bachelor’s degree is required. Experience in data collection and management in an education setting with knowledge of the Tennessee Department of Education rules and regulations is preferred.
