The starting pay for this position is $18.65/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sanitarian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the plant in accordance with the Master Cleaning Schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Maintain cleanliness of plant in accordance with Master Cleaning Schedule per SSOP’s

Must complete all required cleaning logs

Work with various chemicals / cleaning agents in a safe manner following all applicable safety guidelines and procedures.

Be able to use high pressure water hose and high-pressure air wand in cleaning

Must be able to work every Sunday and occasional holidays.

Must be able to work a variable schedule and be able to work up to 12 hours in one shift

Communicate with various departments on a regular basis

Must be willing to work outside on occasion

Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor

Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements

Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable


REQUIREMENTS:


Must be able to successfully complete scissor lift training

Must complete Confined Space Training

Must complete Fall Protection Training and adhere to all procedures

Ability to flex/grip with wrists/hands

Walking, bending, squatting, standing and lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis

Must be able to tolerate heights up to 70 feet off of the ground on occasion

Must be able to move heavy objects with a mechanical device

Must be able to work with minimal supervision


In order to be eligible for consideration you must be available to work overtime and weekends.
