The Enterprise Strategy team is responsible for creating, communicating and, in some cases, driving **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s strategic actions to meet its purpose. They are frequently called upon by the Senior Leadership team to evaluate and connect the various actions of the company into a cohesive strategy that takes into account the functional strategies while prioritizing the Enterprise strategy. In cases, where the perspective to be evaluated is new to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (e.g. new lines of business, acquisitions, etc.) they are used to create new business level strategies.

As an Enterprise Strategy Senior Director, you will lead specific strategic initiatives that have broad organizational breadth and impact, including defining Enterprise strategy frameworks, dimensioning specific growth opportunities and enabling inorganic transactions. You will be responsible for directly managing a team of 4 Enterprise Strategy team members with varied professional backgrounds. You will determine the principles to use and develop the team’s skills within their specific area of discipline – either Business Development or Strategy Development. Along with the Chief Strategy Officer and VP of Enterprise Strategy, you will ideate and prioritize the strategic projects taken on by the team. You will have a significant amount of autonomy and accountability for communicating **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s strategy externally and with senior leadership team members.

What will you do?
Develop strategic, business and financial analyses:
Develop analyses and presentations based on perspective gleaned from C Suite-level individuals and complemented with your own strategic thinking
Provide editing support in a productive and teaching manner for analyses and presentations
Proactively offer strategic insight and perspective to the Strategy office leadership designed to shape the Enterprise strategy
Provide in-the-moment feedback to employees about different approaches to make their analyses better (even when not directly associated with the work)
Train the Enterprise strategy team in best practices for performing strategic analyses
Conduct internal and external assessments:
Conduct due diligence of external partner and inorganic targets
Analyze how external companies and industries operate and make money
Assess internal functions and capabilities for relative quality and attributes compared with industry standards
Perform gap analyses to indicate the differences between **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s business approach and external businesses and industries
Lead internal management team members in exploration and discovery sessions with external companies
Lead Senior Leadership through capability gap analyses in the context of the Enterprise strategic direction
Gain insight and perspective from Officer-level professionals to shape Enterprise-level decisions:
Participate in gaining insight and perspective from officer-level professionals within **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
Lead gaining insight and perspective from external parties where sharing of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s strategic approach is also shared
Have productive discussions with Senior Leadership on points of difference
Conduct strategic capability projects (e.g. BoD presentation preparation, executive briefing, inorganic deal management):
Independently produce work on specific strategic capability functions
Team leadership and development:
Lead small team of high potential employees
Foster an Enterprise-first headset within the team and one of intellectual diversity
Train the team on [Business Development or Strategic Development]
Basic Requirements (You must meet or exceed all basic requirements to be eligible)
Independent management of discrete projects, including providing training and feedback to non-solid line staff
Ability to communicate succinctly to C Suite-level individuals
Management experience including supervision of direct or indirect reports
Conducting and interpreting Financial Analysis
Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in management consulting, a start-up company, legal, corporate development, investment banking or corporate strategy
MBA
Project Management experience
Ability to deal with ambiguity
