Clinic Faculty Supervisor
The candidate will be hired as a 12-month, fixed-term faculty member. Will report to the Director of Clinical Programs and supervise a clinic in which law students represent low- and moderate-income clients who hold home mortgages that are at risk of foreclosure or are being foreclosed upon. Should have 5 years practice experience and either experience or a demonstrated interest in teaching. Must have a background in representing under-resourced clients in mortgage foreclosure cases as well as other consumer financial transactions. Must be, or become prior to starting the position, licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina. Should be able to work as a member of a team in a fast-paced law clinic environment. Must have a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
