Role: Sr. Java Developer
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: Long Term 12 months
PURPOSE
Work as a developer on a strategic electronic trading platform, and contribute to a team of developers to successfully develop e-trading solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs while demonstrating high levels of quality and productivity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement technical solutions, which cater to the Fixed Income Cash Pricing
Produce high quality code which is functional and maintainable.
Maintain and improve the applications
Participate in the development process for gathering requirements, implementing and releasing applications.
Improve and maintain existing code, procedures and systems.
Impart knowledge and benefit of experience to other members of the team.
EDUCATION &/OR EXPERIENCE
Experience in Writing code.
Windows/Linux development environment.
Fixed Income Cash Pricing knowledge
Experience in Broker and Future markets
Experience in US Treasury markets
Technical (In order of importance - most import at the top) Required
Java Sever Side Development
Concurrent Applications
Messaging bus eg, Tib Rv, MQ, Solace etc
Unix shell scripts
SQL
CEP eg Streambase, Progress APAMA or Esper ( Nice to have
