Experience with Positive Train Control (PTC) is a highly valued. Responsibilities:n Define project scope,n goals and deliverables that support the business goals and requirements inn collaboration with account sales executives, senior management andn stakeholders.n Meet with clients to taken detailed user requirements and clarify specific requirements for then contracted scope of the project(s).n Develop complete projectn plans and associated communications documents. Estimate the resources andn participants needed to achieve project goals.n Apply Siemens projectn process and management principles at all aspects of project scope andn deliverables.n Effectively communicaten project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely andn clear fashion.n Develop and delivern progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, andn presentations.n Meet budgetary objectivesn and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.n Use appropriaten verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule andn costs.n Measure projectn performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.n Perform risk management ton minimize project risks.n Build and maintainn comprehensive project documentation.n Set and continually managen project expectations with team members and other partners. Delegate tasksn and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.n Identify and managen project dependencies and critical path.n Track project milestonesn and deliverables.n Define project successn criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project lifen cycle.n Coach, mentor, empower andn supervise project team and contractors, and influence them to taken positive action and accountability for their assigned work.n Build, develop, and grown any business relationships vital to the success of the project.n Conduct project postn mortems and create a recommendation report in order to identify successfuln and unsuccessful project elements.n Ability to lead/directn emergency support calls due to requirements of the contract that call forn after hour support in the event of an emergency (24X7X365)nRequirements:n Consistent record of 2 n years as Project Management with experience leading/running transportationn projects. PMP Certification a plus.n Preferred Bachelors’n degree in computer science, electrical engineer, or power systemsn engineer. Proven experience can be substituted.n Ability to lead a teamn that is located in multiple locations.n Project managers shouldn have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysisn Excellent client-facingn and internal communication skillsn Solid interpersonal skillsn including attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, Advanced timen management and analytical skillsn Working knowledge ofn Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.n Up to 25% travel isn requirednWe are Siemens:We’re made up of 351,000 of the world’s smartest minds.
