Profile

This position is responsible for inventory of all the farms that need feed delivery, as well as running the computer to make the feed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

The primary function of this position is to batch and pellet feed using a semi-automated computer system.

In addition to making feed, this position will include dumping bags of ingredients, and some general housekeeping. Also includes maintaining and checking the oil level on the pellet mills and reading ingredients from bags of feed and placing the correct dosage in the right bin. Position requires filling out ingredient logs and completing batch logs. Collected data will be keyed into a batching system. Position requires constant communication with feed mill manager and maintenance personnel. Essential functions will include lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, and stooping. This position entails climbing ladders, stairs, repeatedly lifting 60 pounds and working in climates ranging from extreme cold to extreme hot.

The successful candidate will be required to have general computer skills. Previous experience with computers in an industrial environment is preferred. Must have the ability to read and write. Good communication skills are a must.
