Associate/Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance
The candidate under the direction of the Senior Associate Athletics Director/SWA, will oversee a comprehensive Division I compliance program within NCAA Bylaws, America East, Hockey East, and University policies and procedures. Responsible for all aspects of implementing a comprehensive NCAA Division I compliance program and developing the athletic department’s policies and procedures pertaining to rules compliance. Insure institutional compliance with all NCAA, America East and Hockey East guidelines and rules; Develop and maintain a rules education program for student-athletes, coaches, university staff and boosters on NCAA rules and regulations with particular attention to recruiting rules, eligibility requirements, and extra benefits legislation. Work with the Admissions Office, Financial Aid Office and Registrar’s Office as the athletic department’s liaison for NCAA research, documents and decision making. Oversee the details and preparation of institutional, NCAA, America East and Hockey East reports. Additional responsibilities related to social media, technology and department website and software. Performs other related duties as assigned.
