Adjunct Instructor, Criminal Justice
The candidate will be responsible for: Must teach criminal justice courses such as Corrections in America, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Introduction to Criminology, Juvenile Justice, Introduction to Criminal Investigation or Policing in America. Adjunct faculty members will be expected to use our course management system, Blackboard, hold regular office hours, and attend at least one professional development workshop per year. All classes may be offered day or evening. Teaching is assigned on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Must have a master's degree (or Ph.D.) in Criminal Justice or a J.D, at least 1 year college teaching experience, and work in an adult/juvenile criminal justice setting. Should have 2+ years teaching experience in an open-admissions college, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and 2+ years of experience in a Criminal Justice setting.
