As a Technical Writer the qualified candidate will be writing and editing technical documentation pertaining to the iStore’s PetroTrek Digital Oilfield Software suite of products for the purpose of developing and maintaining: installation, configuration, how –to documentation, and online help for both clients and employees of iStore.
Required Skills:
•Information usability and architecture (knowledge of human interface, information architecture, needs analysis, audience characteristics)
•Proficient communication and presentation skills in English
•Information gathering (interviewing SMEs, software trials, specifications documents, demos, source content, research, extrapolating)
•Writing and editing succinctly and clearly
•Project management and software development process orientation
•Graphics capture basic editing
•Business savvy a plus
Experience:
•Software development
•Upstream oil and gas a plus
