Transports food carts to and from kitchen and patient care areas. Performs ware washing, equipment and department sanitation throughout the department. Cleans and maintains dish machine, follows department sanitation procedures. Works as directed by Chef or Supervisor.Cafeteria Service WorkerDepending on work outline for assigned station, is responsible for preparing deli and salad bars for service and setting up a variety of food items for cafeteria. Operates and maintains food service equipment. Maintains serving area in a safe, clean and sanitary condition. Performs cashier duties. Stocks and refills a variety of food, beverages and paper goods. Works as directed by Chef or Supervisor. Cashier Responsible for set up of Garden Terrace register bank and service area. Provides fast, accurate customer service and processing of customer financial transactions. Closes register and counts drawer, makes deposit. Stocks Garden Terrace serving area with paper and food products, makes coffee, checks and refills all items frequently. Cleans service area counters and dining room tables. Works as directed by Chef or Supervisor.Storeroom Clerk Responsible for checking vendor deliveries against delivery invoice and placing deliveries in appropriate storage area in a timely manner to preserve quality and prevent spoilage. Assists supervisor with inventory and placing order via computer. Cleans and maintains walk in refrigerators, freezer and dry storage areas in a safe and sanitary condition. Delivers and rotates floor stock foods to patient pantries Stocks Garden Terrace with beverages and paper supplies. Cleans and sanitizes equipment as assigned. Knowledge of and complies with HACCP & department food safety procedures. Works as directed by Chef of Supervisor. Room Service Responsible for providing room service to patients, prepares patient meal trays and nourishments. Transports patient tray carts to and from patient care units. Passes trays to patients, verifies patient ID via name and birthdate. Restocks nourishment items to patient pantries, cleans and restocks work area.','!*!Qualifications 

Ability to read, write
and communicate in English and perform all tasks assigned to the
position.
Ability to operate
computerized cash register, coffee brew, yogurt machine, count change and
balance cash drawer required.
Ability to operate
computerized cash register and count change.
Ability to verify items
received to invoice, physically able to move and shelve up to 300 cases
of product per delivery.
Previous experience in
food preparation and knowledge of nutrition and/or therapeutic diets
preferred.
Serve Safe Certificate
preferred.
