Maxim Healthcare Services’ Rockford, Illinois Office is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide direct care for pediatric and adult patients within our client's homes located in Rockford, South Beloit, and Poplar Grove, IL ! Our patients have very supportive and involved families that are trained on aspects of care to assist in training new nurses. Patient care is provided in a 1:1 setting, very manageable workload!
Full time or Part time positions available. Flexible AM, PM and NOC hours.
$2,000 sign on bonus offered for full time PM and night shift!
Up to $1,000 sign on bonus offered for part time or full time AM shift!
Nurses will be following a physician established plan of treatment and will be working under the supervision of the Clinical Manger and Registered Nurse, to provide and instruct patients and their families in proper treatment, and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.

As a Maxim Nurse you will assess and record symptoms and/or reactions, progress in your patient(s), administer medications, and assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment. Maxim believes that qualified nurses are advocates and health educators for patients, families and communities.

We provide Pediatric training on G-tubes -Trachs - Vents and more. Maxim has partnered with John Hopkins University School of Nursing to provide an interactive training program to prepare nurses for emergency management of home mechanical ventilation.
Newly licensed nurses are also encouraged to apply for our Novice Nurse Program.


Qualifications:
Current Nursing License in IL
One year of Registered Nurse experience preferred.
Current BLS card - CPR must be Healthcare Provider. No online classes accepted.
Copy of updated PPD or Chest x-ray
Reliable transportation
