Profile

This position will be part of the Global Supply Chain Manage ment team which is under eBay 's Global Ma naged Service.
The main purpose of this position is to prov ide eBay's internal data center
customers with appropriate hosting
solutions t h at
satisfy their needs and create value. Global Managed Service has a host of s ervices ranging f rom providing po wer ,
space ,
forecasting & demand planning, suppl y chain, support,
archite ctural solution, compute , storage, networking hardware needs, lifecycle management, logistics, provisioning, monitoring services, etc.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Participate with clients to deliver and support technology based data center services and IT Solutions and address client needs for space, power, supply chain, server, storage, hadoop, networking, support, procurement and provisioning services.
Manage operational delivery of infrastructure services for assigned service domains, including service delivery, service level monitoring and reporting, incident management, problem management, capacity planning, service request management, and relationship management (ITIL).
Be first point of contact for all types of hosting service requirements ranging from architectural questions to budgetary and recommend solutions and guide clients through complex steps of data center on boarding
Drive the Infrastructure, Engineering, and Architecture teams in the design, development, and delivery of Cloud Computing, Infrastructure on Demand (IOD)
Primary point of contact, in-charge of budgetary needs, forecasting and demand planning for gears.
Interact with vendors and technology partners, internal and external hardware team, manufacturing teams, financial owners, program managers, data center architects and many other crossfunctional team and champion clients needs and maintain end to end visibility and report via dashboards, and running both functional and exec level meetings
Maintain long term focus and create end to end visibility around gear needs from initiatives to maturity of programs.

Knowledge and experience in Service Catalog Management. Knowledge of RACI, Skills and Training Matrix and other process essentials for IT Service Management functions.
Experienced Gap analysis, Define target state & KPIs and create effective and realistic roadmaps to reach target state.
Experienced in creating Assessment Report, Business Case, Strategy, Roadmaps, Process Models,and Success Metrics.Abllity to understand and sell IT hosting solutions to customers either through thorough knowledge of Service delivery and IT Services management or via deep technical knowledge of datacenter IT hardware needs and architecture
Be able to demostrate leadership and management skill associated with delivering and exceeding client needs for Infrastructure which may consist of Physical and Virtual Servers, storage, bigdata, networking for range of hosting applications.
Set-up and manage a Global ITIL based IT Service Catalog for eBay's Global Managed Service
Suitable candidates should have significant previous experience managing sourcing and supplier relationships for datacenter hardware.
Knowledge of datacenter IT hardware supply chain, forecasting and demand planning
Participate in public forums, consortiums, committees and be able to influence both partners and stake holders.
Ability to effectively interact , influence and develop relatios hip with clients, partners, technical subject matter experts, execs and business leaders

Education
Masters Degree or Equivalent
