Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking Senior Business Intelligence Specialists for our Analytics and Reporting team.
The Senior BI Specialists will join a talented team supporting the development and customization of reports, data analytics, and dashboards. Fragomen has many exciting prospects for Business Intelligence professionals and is building a Center of Excellence for Data & Analytics, which is just one of many exciting features of our Fragomen Technologies offerings.
How you will make a difference as Senior Business Intelligence Specialist at Fragomen:
Define and design data requirements for analysis as well as work with data scientists, data engineers and project marketing teams.
Provide expertise in Advanced Analytics, Relational Databases, Tableau and Data Engineering.
Build and maintain BI Solutions and dashboards using tools including Tableau, SAP, and the Microsoft BI Stack.
Strategize with the team to create solutions with a robust focus on automation, scalability, and action-oriented intelligence.
Work with key business partners including senior leaders and their teams to effectively source required data and communicate the findings to Partners, business stakeholders and clients.
Work effectively with application analysts, software engineers, etc. in all phases of application development projects, potentially including fully gathering and documenting reporting requirements, design, testing and change management.
Create and maintain a complete set of documentation on reports.
Maintain a high sense of urgency and commitment to meet deadlines while meeting customer requirements.
Keep abreast of new BI and related technology and trends and assess when and if new technology is needed. Participate in quality or process improvement activities, including regular reviews of systems and technology.  Design and implement modifications or improvements, based on those activities.
Perform ad-hoc reporting and exploratory data analysis upon request.
Assist in identifying problems in logic or efficiency in the data and reports.
Resolve questions and ensure issue resolution as they relate to reports and reporting systems.
Let's talk if you have the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Exceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses and findings.
4 years of experience in Business Intelligence
4 years of experience using Data visualization tools (Tableau preferred), preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
Advanced experience with using Tableau Desktop and familiarity with Tableau Server preferred.
4 years’ experience with data manipulation.
R and Python experience is nice to have, but not required.
Understanding of Visualization best practices.
Ability to create and optimize database objects (tables, stored procedures, views, etc.) necessary to support reporting systems.
Ability to access data from multiple sources and multiple formats for use in developing reports.
