Q/A Engineer/Programmer
Summary:
Because of continued success and new contract awards, we seek a part-time QA engineer to join our very busy Application Development Team. As part of our team, you will be involved with the documentation, testing, debugging, and deployment of our survey and reporting sites. Additionally, you will participate in configuring, maintaining, and updating our virtualized Windows server farm. You will often work in small cross-functional teams within and occasionally interact directly with clients to help address questions, concerns, and problems.
Responsibilities
Manage tasks for completion within critical timelines
Deploy code across multiple projects and clients
Maintain and update virtual Windows private cloud
Manually test new development features in web applications
Track any bugs/defects within web applications
Modernize existing testing and deployment processes and systems
Perform other job-related duties as required
Required Skills:
Ability to work cooperatively, often with a combination of both technical and non-technical audiences, to write software requirements and test developed solutions
Experience with performing manual and regression testing within a required regression timeframe
Production environment experience with Windows Server and IIS
Demonstration of independent problem-solving skills with a systematic and analytical approach
Demonstration of initiative and enthusiasm with excellent communication and presentation skills
Other Desired Qualities:
Experience with automating C# .NET MVC builds
Experience with creating, maintaining, and reviewing reusable test automation frameworks
Strong organization and prioritization skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service attitude
Flexibility and adaptability
