Job Description:

The maintenance engineer ensures continuous reliable improvement of maintenance execution of rotating and static equipment and oversees implementation of local maintenance tactics and strategies. Ensures high-quality maintenance with quality control, assurance, and sustainability.

Manages the safe, efficient, reliable and profitable operation of the Catalyst Plant (PAPA, WOSCAT) through the provision of world class maintenance planning and execution services.


Drive the improvement of overall maintenance costs including contracts, effective and efficient execution with equipment.
Manage the interface between Production, Engineering (Turnarounds, Reliability, Projects) and Procurement to deliver overall performance improvements.
Drive cost to ensure short and long term performance of all rotating equipment.
Execute plant changes, minor Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) projects, coordinates shutdown maintenance and ensures that execution is done in accordance with Management of Change (MOC), TurnAround (T/A) and Design and Engineering Practice (DEP) standards
Monitors maintenance KPIs to drive the effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance.
Able to engage stakeholders with proactive management of maintenance activities

Requirements:


Mechanical Engineering Degree (Or equal qualified technical education)
At least 5 Years working experience in the oil or petrochemical, chemical industry (e.g. Engineering, Maintenance, Projects, Turnaround) in the manufacturing field.
Proven leadership and organizational skills
Experience in managing shut-downs and managing contractors.
Personal drive in order to meet deadlines and agreed targets
Causal, logical and analytical thinking
Outperforming skills in troubleshooting and development of long term strategies
Good communication skills
Excellent leadership skills with tenacity and boots on the ground attitude.
Able to multi-task many activities safely and effectively.
