Position Summary
The Role
As a Client Development (CD) analyst, you will join our client development function to provide 'hands on' business development & content creation support to the Financial Services Practice and its consultants across the region as well as focusing on the Greater China market.
You will work in close collaboration with consulting teams and other cross-functional teams to pursue various business opportunities, and this role includes 1) developing high-quality presentations and documents, 2) conducting market research and synthesizing information into meaningful insight for different client opportunities, and 3) assisting with short-, mid- and long-term client development projects including data management and analysis. This role will be based in either our Hong Kong or Shanghai office.

Key Responsibilities
Analysts will focus on one or more of the following:

Respond to consultant and CD team requests for basic business development materials across all stages of prospecting - from new leads to competitive presentations.
Define and execute the practice strategy from a CDT perspective, including the preparation and organization of internal practice meetings, financial analysis and reporting, and moderating current business affairs among the team.
Participate and contribute as needed to internal business development calls and client calls as guided by the Client Development Manager; provide critical sales development support, including logging and managing action items and recommendations, and following through on actions as directed.
Help maintain tools and systems to assist in centralizing and organizing business development materials, including standardized and/or tailored presentations, developing sample reports, drafting proposal letters and the like.
Provide administrative and communications support, including proofing, formatting and content revisions for internal and external reporting and communications
Build knowledge of key Firm products and overall leadership advisory
Perform other client development support-related activities as requested.
Required Qualifications
Work Experience
One to two years of relevant internship or full-time experience, ideally at a professional services or consulting firm. Knowledge of (or a strong interest in) leadership and talent consulting is a bonus.
Keen interest in Financial Services industry, experience in this industry will be a plus.
Tools
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs. Has experience contributing to major research efforts that include analyses of business and industry trends.
Fluent in Mandarin (capable to read and prepare client presentations in Mandarin) and English
Education
An undergraduate degree is mandatory.
