Derivatives Attorney Part-Time AI Derivatives Contract Review - Remote United States

Salary
Hourly USD 150 to 200

Location
New York City, NY, United States

Apply for this job

Profile

• $150–$200 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task

• 100% remote

• Part-time

• Fully flexible schedule

Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the derivatives expertise you already have.

The legal AI systems that are changing how contract work gets done are trained and tested by real attorneys. The teams building them need derivatives attorneys who can create realistic negotiation and redlining exercises, judge how accurately the AI handles contract scenarios, write the legal answer a professional would give, and explain where its risk analysis falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of legal AI. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.

What you'll do

• Use ISDA Master Agreements in simulated negotiation and redlining work

• Check how AI handles derivatives contract scenarios, for legal accuracy and the soundness of its risk analysis

• Set the standards used to assess derivatives documentation tasks, including the evaluation framework and grading criteria

• Improve the guidelines and practices used in AI contract review workflows

Why this is worth your time

• Get paid the equivalent of $150–$200 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job

• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most derivatives attorneys will not have for years

• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping derivatives law, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change

• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute

Who this is for

• At least three years of derivatives documentation work, including hands-on drafting, review, negotiation and redlining of ISDA Master Agreements

• Knowledge of close-out netting and collateral provisions, as well as events of default and termination events

• Clear written and spoken English

• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.

Pay and details

• $150–$200 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor

• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States

How to apply

1. Apply on OpenTrain (about two minutes; upload your resume).

2. Complete a short application on the hiring platform.

3. If shortlisted, take a short AI interview. Most people hear back within days.
