Build a website that uploads short training videos and reports on statistics as to the usage of those videos.
This proposed project is to build a website where a salesperson can upload short videos that are there sales pitch. The site must be able to a) track detail statistics about the usage of the video, which invitees saw it, who watched it all the way through, etc.
Obviously it needs a subscription management section where you can manage your subscription, tell it which of your users are superuser sales manager who can see condensed usage data to tell how their sales employees are doing and report other things that a sales manager would want.
If they wish to, the users should be able to add subtitles to the video. They would of course key this text dialogue in themselves but they need to control the timing of it. So that it matches what is being shown on the scree.
We envision a control panel on the left with the right side of the screen showing videos youve made or uploaded, and other informational type stuff.
The left side control panel needs to have these functions:
My videos
label and search them private, company, archived, and other statuses
Upload
upload videos from your desktop or phone/tablet
Record
record videos that are automatically saved in your my videos area using your native camera
Tools
- video reports - find out how a particular sales video is performing (are they responding, are they watching
all the way through, etc
- download any videos you want
- email sequences - set up a series of follow up emails that happen after the prospective client has
watched the video (this MIGHT be a Mailchimp interface, but im not sure yet..so coder must be prepared
to have a mail system inside the application
- email signatures
a place to store several different signatures/salutations that are applied to an email
- Video reply settings
Enabling Video Reply allows the recipients of your videos to reply to you with a video of their own,
recorded right from their web-browser. If you would rather not allow your recipients to reply with video,
simply select Disable video replies.

need to be able to integrate with SalesForce, Mailchimp, have an extension in Chrome that allows you to
record right to the website from within your browser, integrate with Gmail for contacts and for outbound
mail
- video templates
we need to make 6 or 7 templates that are just like frames around a photograph. Just a way to frame the
video to give it some pop or sizzle
- calls to action (CTA)
what do you want the user to do after they view the video? fill out a form, see a page full of graphics, sign a
contract page? , use Calendly to set up an appointment with the salesman?, take a survey? (call to actions
are simply a URL ) , they should be able to string CTAs together which we would call a collection of Calls to
