Job Summary:The Business Development Intern will be responsible for supporting the Business Development team in a wide range of projects such as analysis and tracking, monitoring of the global pharmaceutical landscape, and management of business relationships.Responsibilities: Offering administrative support for the VP of Business Development through managing calendars, appointments, and general correspondence Assist the maintenance of database for all business development analytics for Lannett’s public documents Work with business development team leading planning and coordination surrounding all business development events and conferences Collaborate with the business development team on deal structures and negotiations to ensure transactional success Assist in the creation of detailed models that include profit and loss statements and cash flow analysis utilizing industry standard tools such as IQVIA, IPD Analytics, etc. Collaborate with the team to develop new business opportunities with select strategic accounts that you manage directly by identifying opportunities that fit the organization’s strategic vision Provide support in following public reports of other organizations in the pharmaceutical space while creating reports for the Leadership Team to better understand key public statements and strategies Create and maintain database of potential high value product targets for future business development transactions Maintain CRM database (Salesforce) for all communications and opportunities that are brought to the organization along with details regarding the decision making Qualifications/Education: High school diploma required, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business development or related field Highly motivated, easily able to take direction Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be a self-starter and be able to prioritize tasks based on demand A basic understanding of deal/financial modeling Experience with the use of standard pharmaceutical services such as IQVIA, IPD Analytics, etc. is a plus Experience using CRM software, ideally Salesforce is a plus
