IT Software Programmer Analyst Sr.

General Function
Designs, develops, maintains, and supports software applications.
Reporting Function:
This position reports directly to an IT Software Development Supervisor.
Representative Activities and Accountabilities:
Be involved in all levels of software development, including requirements definition, specification, design, implementation, testing and integration, documentation, maintenance, and customer support.
Provide leadership in adherence to ARUP*s established software life cycle standards.
Provide leadership in the performance of source code reviews.
Perform technical writing duties related to the design and documentation of software applications
Perform quality assurance duties related to software products, including unit testing and system functionality testing.
Provide programming leadership and training to IT Software Programmer/Analysts and IT Software Programmers.
Participate in continuing education activities in order to improve development skills and provide leadership in keeping ARUP up-to-date on software development tools and other technological innovations that may be pertinent to the company*s development efforts and environments.
Provide direction to IT Software Programmer/Analysts in software design activities.
Maintain expertise in and define ARUP*s evolving software development tools and environments through collaboration with technical leads, project managers, and managers.
Provide leadership in promoting a positive, professional, and productive work environment among ARUP programmers.
Requirements Job Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor*s degree in computer related major plus eight (8) years of on-the-job software development experience, or high school diploma (or equivalent) plus ten (10) years of on-the-job software development experience.
Four (4) years of on-the-job experience to include software design experience with demonstrable expertise in user interface design.
Four (4) years of on-the-job experience to include the use of the following software development languages: Developing applications on the Force.com Platform
VisualForce
Creating triggers, classes, and customer controllers using Apex
HTML, XML, and Web Services
SOQL and SQL
Coding in Java
Agile, scrum, extreme programming
Salesforce UI and data model
Writing and executing comprehensive test plans
Coding in a N-tiered, service oriented architecture
Preferred:
The Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Advanced Developer Certification
Familiarity with Eclipse or Force.com IDE
Familiarity with CRM Fusion Demand Tools
Experience with both the Sales and Service Cloud organizations

Must have excellent analytical skills.
Ability to work all required overtime.
Must be able to work independently.
Must have good presentation skills.
