POSITION SUMMARY:
The Laboratory Assistant works under the general direction of the shift supervisors. Primary role will be to process samples that are sent to the lab for analysis using the pneumatic tube system. Assists with answering the telephone and finding results or status for the hospital staff asking for assistance or transferring the call to the appropriate area if unable to fulfill the request being asked. Will also assist with other administrative duties as required.','!*!
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with a laboratory information system recommended.
