Type: 6 month contract
Looking for a Project Manager with help desk and desktop support experience within a global organization. The ideal candidate will have experience managing service desks (helpdesks) and desk side support teams over diverse and international locations. The Transformation Project Manager will reside in Jersey City with some travel to New York City as required. The position will be responsible for transitioning and transformation of the service desk.
Expertise:
Service desk (help desk) and desk side support.
Incident and Change Management systems.
Best Practice documentation.
Training documentation.
Project management.
Experience and Requirements:
5 years managing a service desk and desk side support organizations.
Superior communication, leadership, and organization skills.
Process design, development, and implentation.
Advanced documentation skills.
Proven track record of meeting operations deadlines and service level objectives.
Working flexible hours.
Managing hardware and software deployments a plus.
Special Knowledge and Skills:
Superior Microsoft Office skills.
Knowledge of Incident and Change Management systems. Remedy a huge plus.
Knowledge of infrastructure, server, messaging, telecom, database tools and methodologies.
