Mid-level Associate, Asset Management (Private Funds)
The candidate will advise clients on the formation, marketing and management of domestic and international private investment funds including private equity buyout funds, venture capital funds, special situations funds, debt funds, secondary funds, hedge funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds and funds of funds. Will represent private fund sponsors in the US and Asia in a wide range of corporate matters including structuring, operations and governance of their funds and management companies, succession planning, carried interest arrangements, employee investment programs, marketing arrangements and limited partner transfers. Advise private fund sponsors on compliance and regulatory issues. Represent registered advisers in connection with ongoing SEC reporting and compliance matters and regulatory investigations, inquiries and examinations. Represent institutional investors in connection with the review and negotiation of fund terms, rights and other considerations relating to proposed investments in leading private equity, venture, real estate, energy and hedge funds. Advise investors on co-investment opportunities and advisory committee issues. Represent buyers and sellers in their secondary market activities. Supervise junior associates.
