Modis is aggressively recruiting Junior Product Manager
for an outstanding opportunity in Redwood City, CA. This is a 6-12 month contract to hire opportunity. You must be able to work as my W-2 Consultant.
Experience and Knowledge Required
The Jr. Product Manager candidate must have strong relationship management skills, cross-group coordination skills, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to drive collaborative discussions and decisions with all key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will also have strong account/project management skills, be able to understand business strategy and technology, and possess the ability to focus at a detailed level on multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3 years experience related to the later stages of video game development (from achieving final software to ship)
3-5 years experience in account or professional relationship management in a services based environment
3-5 years of project management experience. Previous experience in driving key initiatives and change management projects, working closely and effectively with numerous stakeholders to successfully complete these initiatives/projects.
2-3 years people management experience
Expertise with Microsoft Office; Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Experience working with databases and Microsoft SharePoint 2013.
Proven customer service skills with ability not just to meet, but exceed customer expectations.
Experience and Knowledge Desired
Proven knowledge of the technical requirements of at least one console manufacturer and associated tools.

Proven ability to lead, manage and working with remote teams.
Proven ability to work and mediate effectively with teams across geographies and have excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to influence team and outside partners on challenging projects/initiatives, obtain buy in, and to see the initiatives to fruition with little to no management.
Highly process -oriented with previous experience in driving process improvement initiatives and thinking outside the box to increase efficiency/effectiveness across multiple departments/partners.
Superior verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
Professional and mature demeanor, with demonstrated emotional intelligence and teamwork behavior.
Enthusiastic self-starter able to identify and solve problems with little to no management.
Quick learner able to work effectively in a changing environment and positively embrace change; demonstrate openness to new ideas.
Experience with high levels of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a consistently fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Excellent personal organization and work ethic
Willingness to travel internationally
