Inuit Services, Inc is seeking a Warehouse Specialist - Central Issue Facility in Ft McCoy, WI. To provide general assistance in issuing equipment and gear to service members processing through the Central Issue Facility, restocking and warehouse work also required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Issuing gear and receiving turn-ins, individual or bulk.
Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents.
Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Operate appropriate equipment including a forklift, 24’ cube van, pallet jack, and office machines..

Job Requirements :
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
Must be a steady, reliable worker.
Must be able to read simple instructions and follow simple diagrams.
Must be able to perform simple tasks independently after being given specific instructions.
Must be able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to complete each task assignment.
Must have a valid driver's license with no major infractions.
Preferred:
Two (2) years of experience in the field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Type and enter data at a speed necessary for successful job performance.
Perform simple arithmetic computations.
Ability to organize and distribute items.
Ability to communicate both orally and writing with internal and external customers and co-workers.

Injury exposure could be minor cuts and bruises; considerable physical effort of hands and arms required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position requires driving and working out of doors in extreme heat/ cold and possibly rainy weather and be able to work shifts if needed in support of a warehouse facility. Physical stamina and strength in all of its forms (endurance, temperature/ climate, stress, etc) is necessary.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
