Come join us at our Bits and Drilling Tool Center!In this position you assemble and test all products, provide troubleshooting and resolve and issues during the assembly procedure. This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Production Lead.Essential responsibilities include:Assemble product components and select correct tools and fixtures.Test assembled products.Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.Read blueprints and identify components for the jobMeasure and set tolerances for the mechanical parts and assembliesCreate labor records for all transactions.Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum High School Diploma or GED required.Basic computer skills.Effective communication skills.Eagerness to learn.Attention to detail, neat and organized.Ability to work in shifts and overtime (weekends included) as required. Flexible in working requirements as per business needs.Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.Physical Demands: Good general fitness and health.For this position, we can offer the following work patterns:2nd shift - eligible for a 9% shift premiumSchlumberger is an equal employment opportunity employer.
