DevSecOps Engineer

Profile

SAIC is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer supporting Weather Data Application Migration to the Cloud. This is full-time remote work that may be performed from anywhere within the United States.
Qualifications
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance as needed
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and two or more years of experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions
Experience with using active learning and analytical thinking within a collaborative, cross-functional, team environment
Experience with Python development
Experience working in an Agile/DevSecOps process
Knowledge of provisioning computer networking and storage
Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving AWS
Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
Ability to obtain a security clearance and Security Certification within 30 days 
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
Experience with NiFi and KAFKA
Experience working with Kubernetes and Istio
Experience with Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Governance, and Data Science
Experience working with DoD organizations
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
