Aptean’s Marketing Team is hiring for a Marketing Specialist who is responsible for developing and executing industry and solution-level marketing programs. The person in this position will demonstrate strong program project management skills, including planning, promotion, execution, and material development, and the ability to manage large customer events/user groups, and Aptean’s attendance/sponsorship of third-party events, tradeshows, and webinars. This position will work closely with other marketing team members, executives, product teams and sales to understand the goals/objectives of our event programs, with particular focus on demand generation activities to drive quality leads and pipeline. Candidates will have a successful track record of developing and executing marketing programs, as well as a deep understanding of the synergetic relationship between Marketing, Sales, and Product Management.

A seasoned, experienced B2B marketing professional with a full understanding of their area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.
Complexity:
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Supervision:
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute marketing programs, events/webinars, and related activities to ensure that these meet organizational goals and expectations.
2. Generate leads through integrated marketing campaigns that leverage key tactics, including email, content syndication, advertising, social media, events, webinars, etc.
3. Stay well-informed on marketing trends and emerging technologies to incorporate into the strategy for optimizing the company’s marketing investment.
4. Foster positive, collaborative relationships with inside sales, field sales and product management.
5. Work closely with product marketing and management to execute product launches and customer campaigns for Aptean solutions.
6. Execute campaigns in line with budget and demonstrate positive ROI in line with agreed targets.
7. Support additional demand generation and customer campaigns and events as needed.
