Position Summary: 
The PACU RN Manager in collaboration with the Perioperative Nursing Director assume the role of leader in planning, organizing, coaching and facilitating their intraoperative department functions and staff to assure quality service on a twenty-four (24) hour basis. The PACU RN Manager and the Perioperative Director are responsible for meeting JCAHO Standards, complying with the organization's policy and procedures, for managing supplies and equipment on their unit(s), for promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction, and for appropriate resource management.','!*!Licensure/Certification/Registration: 

Current license as a registered Nurse to practice in the State of Florida
BLS – Healthcare provider on hire (American Heart Association)
ACLS Certification on hire or within 90 days from hire or transfer
PALS Certification on hire or within 6 months form hire or transfer
NIH Stroke Scale Certification must be complete within 90 days of hire
Certification (CPAN) through the Association for Post anesthesia nurses (ASPAN) desired
 
Education:

Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing-BSN Preferred, Master’s Degree Preferred','Nurse Manager PACU
