**This position is expected to be full-time in office (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm)**
THE POSITION
The purpose of this position is to:
Prepare, coordinate, and maintain various licensing applications, selected corporate filings, and renewals.
Track legislative and regulatory changes, and work with the legal and compliance teams on advising them of applicable legislative and regulatory changes.
Assist legal and compliance teams with other initiatives
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and assist in preparing licensing applications, filing of all loan officer license reports and renewals in all currently licensed states, as well as new licensing as state laws change.
Maintain licensing of loan officers in states requiring separate licensure/registration and corporate licensure via the NMLS online system.
Responsible for regulatory communication relating to licensing
Act as knowledge base for business units regarding licensing requirements in performance of their duties.
Assist with corporate and real estate filings and renewals.
Oversee communication with states concerning licensing applications and/or renewals.
Handle escalated licensing matters.
Review proposed and recently enacted legislation and regulatory guidance from applicable regulators.
Work with leading attorney to resolve applicability of such changes to LendingTree.
Assist with regulatory change management process where changes in law or regulation require changes to LendingTree’s business or processes.
Support business clients through the regulatory change process.
Help build reporting through use of a GRC tool..
Provide reporting, file maintenance, and scanning as required.
Perform other duties, as determined by manager.
Assist with largescale ad hoc projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of experience in regulatory tracking or regulatory change management.
1 years of experience in licensing (lending or insurance).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Previous paralegal or compliance experience a plus.
Experience in FinTech a plus.
