POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Permitting Specialist for our Environmental Practice working out of our Foxborough, Massachusetts office.
Roles and Responsibilities
POWER is seeking an Environmental Permitting Specialist for our growing Environmental Practice in New England primarily in power delivery and energy projects. This position Applicants must be a technical expert in their field and be capable of working collaboratively with interdisciplinary project teams, interfacing with clients, and serving as a Technical Lead or Task Manager.
Required Education/Experience
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Biology or other related fields
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated experience in permitting, licensing, and siting in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
• Working knowledge of the environmental rules and regulations and permitting requirements in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
• Able to handle multiple project assignments
• Able to work independently and in a team atmosphere
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and professionalism
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in technical writing
