The candidate will serve under the general supervision of the Assistant Dean – Admissions & Scholarships; however, day-to-day instruction and training will be provided by the Admissions Coordinators. will subscribe to and support our commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accountability (IDEA) as stated above. If this description appeals to you, then apply and be considered for this great opportunity. Will provide assistance with recruiting and advising prospective students for the fall 2020 semester. Represents School of Law at local, state, and national events; Counsels prospective students (in person, by telephone, and through e-mail) regarding the admissions process and the program of study; Conducts follow-up contacts with prospective students; Manipulates, analyzes, and interprets current, historical, and comparative data to produce reports, inform decisions, and guide actions; Provides verbal and/or written activity updates for events attended; Ensures compliance with federal, state, institutional, and accrediting agency policies and procedures; Performs other similar duties as assigned. Should be a recent Law graduate to serve in our Admissions Recruiter position. Must demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills as well as adhere to policies and procedures. Must have Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law.o Must have graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law in May 2020. Must be personable, energetic, and capable of articulating their experiences at TAMU Law in a positive manner. Must have or be able to obtain a Texas Class “C” driver’s license within 30 days of employment. Preferred: Strong record of student engagement; General endorsement of the law school faculty.
