The Computer Room Operator is responsible for providing cost efficient data communications, computer processing services and support for the corporate offices and distribution center operations. They review, operate and maintain computer systems and their peripheral hardware to provide support for users, corporate, and the distribution center. They are under general supervision and consistently complete job duties in a timely and accurate manner.

Job Description
Monitors system console messages .
Ensures proper system functions and advises supervisor and informs IS personnel in Minnesota of any error messages, abend notifications or systems aborts.
Monitors jobs running on the AS400 system.
Ensures that the jobs are completed in the proper manner and all output is distributed to the appropriate personnel.
Prints batch labels for all waves released by the transportation department.
Separates labels according to conveyable codes, pick classification and department.
Record information on Batch Selection Report (MS Access).
Distributes labels to supervisors and/or warehouse workers.
Print the Repack Store Labels for all waves released.
Monitors jobs on the system console.
Advises supervisor and notifies IS Department in Minnesota of possible system problems.
Basic Qualifications:
Able to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical experience in computers
Forklift certification
