Blue Ash College invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Information Systems tenure-track position in the Business & Economics Department to begin in August 2020. UC Blue Ash College is the largest regional college in Ohio offering primarily Associate Degrees, with an enrollment of over 5,100 students.

 

Faculty responsibilities include teaching twelve credit hours per term (spring and fall semesters) of undergraduate courses in management information systems and related disciplines such as management. These may include day and evening classes. Additional responsibilities include participating in the governance and committee work of the Department, College, and University, and ongoing professional development, which is discipline-specific or in the scholarship of teaching and learning.

 

 Minimum Qualifications (all of which are required prior to the effective date of the appointment):

*Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. *At least one year of work experience in Information Systems management, development, administration, or other related capacity. *A minimum of one academic year of college-level teaching experience. This experience must have included teaching at least one course in information systems. Candidates will be required to provide evidence of college-level teaching experience.
