Dinsmore & Shohl, a prominent national law firm with over 750 attorneys in 31 cities, is accepting resumes for our 2024 Summer Program from first-year law students interested in a non-IP Summer Associate position in Cincinnati and Columbus, OH.
Additionally, our Intellectual Property Department will also recruit first-year law students for Summer Associate positions in Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Dayton, OH; Detroit, MI; and Pittsburgh, PA. A technical background is required for patent positions and we are looking for students with patent-bar-eligible undergraduate degrees. Specifically, we are targeting technical backgrounds in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, material science, physics, and computer science.
Interested 1L students must be able to demonstrate high academic achievement, excellent research and writing abilities, extracurricular involvement and/or employment history (preferably in leadership positions), maturity, the ability to accept responsibility, and strong interpersonal skills.
