Assistant Dean of Students
The candidate will provide strategic leadership for law school programs and services that foster the academic success of students enrolled at the law school; serve as a liaison for students and faculty with administration; and cultivate an environment of mutual respect and appreciation of diversity among students. Advising and supporting students in academic development; developing and implementing a wide variety of student focused programming; implementing academic standards; overseeing student welfare and discipline; overseeing implementation of reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities; and overseeing the creation and support for programs that promote diversity, foster an inclusive environment, and enrich law students in their professional development. Must have possess a JD and a minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in a position with increasing responsibility, preferably in student affairs at an institution of higher education. Juris Doctorate degree or the equivalent degree desired. Senior level management experience and skill in program review and development, institutional assessment processes, and inter-unit coordination is preferred.
