The Manager works with the Trauma Medical Director, Emergency Department Leadership and Senior Facility Leadership in preparing for and maintaining designation by the Texas Department of State Health Services and/or verification by the American College of SurgeonsRN – Registered Nurse – ED – Trauma CoordinatorEssential Job DutiesParticipate with the processing of trauma quality improvement issues and projects for trauma services improvement process.Facilitate efficient, effective and quality care for the trauma patient population. Collaborate with the entire multi-disciplinary team to monitor patient progress and outcomes as well as appropriate resource utilization. Collect and analyze data that supports trauma performance improvement. Track and report any identified quality issues related to care of the trauma patient. Manage meetings and peer/case review.
