QTM Production Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing/production of all components of the KNITWEAR business to the distribution centers, nearshore/off shore.    POM will work with multi- channel cross functional partners/TH vendor to insure all inquiries are manages and met insuring on-time production while adhering to the fundamentals in the production process. 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

• Attend Seasonal Sketch Review Meetings- Initial introduction to the line.
• Attend GWS hand –off – Specific to Categories POM will own.
• Attend PD PO hand-off meeting
• Attend Style/Cad review with Nearshore vendors

• Capacity Planning
  • Manage Aggregated Vendor-Level View of Core/Speed Capacity Needs
  • Production Planning Review with vendors based on Capacity Booked per projections

• Validate lead-times with Vendors (Speed/Seasonal)
  • In depth Lead Time Analysis for KNIT product categories assigned to nearshore/off shore vendors.
    • Maintain/Distro AT for lead time validation with vendors
    • Ensure accuracy of buy dates to meet expected lead time

• Buy Consolidation
  • Manage the distro/collection of vendor feedback for buy consolidation
  • Consolidate buys
  • Assist PO team, as needed with buy reconciliation/consolidation process for mainline

• Issue Purchase Orders
  • DTS—create, manage and maintain all PO as requested.
  • Reconcile units to buy sheets/style file after POs are issued.
  • Notify/Distro POs to vendors once available
• Weekly review of WIP /Production Recap/VMS reports for Delivery Tracking.

• Manage/Maintain exception report updates as well as delivery communications to the business
  • Work with vendor partners to troubleshoot any issues which can cause a bottleneck in the production process.
  • Track all orders to Distribution Centers (REC//OUT/CDA/Whsl)

• Collaborate with vendors on Speed Supply Reporting & Analysis

• Track Contingent Liability Reports if they become relevant

• Manage any pull forward or other delivery shifts as requested by the business

• Sample Management

• TOPS Samples
• Sample management requests (ie: Marketing, Visual)

Chase Order Management:

• Build, verify, validate chase T&As
• Manage fabric & trims projections prior to PO issuance (as needed for a specific Chase order)
• Track Chase units production and delivery in partnership with vendor team
