This position will focus on testing on-device solutions for Android and enhancing existing apps. You will work with a team of other skilled engineers that develop for Android, iOS, mobile web, and server platforms. Successful candidates will be highly motivated and self-driven. They will also have a strong desire to learn new technologies and be willing to go all in to achieve their personal and company goals.

What will you be doing?
SDET is responsible for c
onduct
ing
a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses with full competency to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
Design, d
raft and revise complex test plans and scripts.
Execute tests according to plans and scripts, document problems in defect tracking system, and retest software corrections to ensure problems are resolved.
Testing enterprise applications deployed to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
Use
actual devices or
simulator to verify
end-user
client
application functionality.
Create test execution/release readiness reports for use in determining when software is ready to release.
Actively support backend software deployments with
software and
D

Actively participate in mobile device application release
and
monitoring
Work closely with Business Intelligence team to monitor data and event pipelines
Actively participate in scrum/agile meetings provid

clear status of assigned work
Work closely with

the development team in deriving feature sets to make sure that the product backlog items are well written and serve the intended functionality to meet the business requirements.
Provide input from a testing perspective to the release schedules and project plans
by
estimating efforts, identifying risk
s, and understanding the interdependencies of the
end to end
systems.
Identify, recommend and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies.
What do we expect from you?
Bachelor's
or Master’s
degree in Computer Science, or related field plus
1-2
years related work experience.
Experience in wide range of test frameworks
Experience in UX / UI testing for
web-based
applications
native Android
and mobile
web-based
applications
Experience in Integration testing of APIs
; performance testing
Proficient in Java
or other scripting languages like
JavaScript
or
Python
Experience working with Android development tools for debugging native applications
such as Android Studio, logcat, terminal, etc.
Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies including, but not limited to, Selenium, Protractor, Appium
Proficien
cy
in SQL skills for data validations (e.g.,
Cosmos
DB
Cassandra
, Snowflake
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environment
Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoy challenging assignments in a high-energy, fast growing workplace
Nice to have skills:
Building test infrastructures using containerization technologies such as Docker and working within continuous delivery / continuous release pipeline processes
Experience working with Git repo's, Jenkins build systems, AWS, Azure
Experience managing agile projects in JIRA, Rally
or similar tool
Experience in online advertising domain
Experience working with mobile network carriers
Experience working with
Xcode
and Console app for debugging native iOS applications
