Patent Coordinator

Duties: Serves as a representative of the University, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of the Rice community and with the public. Handles matters relating to invention disclosure processing and reporting to the federal government, including database entry, verification of funding sources, reporting to governmental agencies, managing communications with outside patent counsel and annuity service, processing legal documents (e.g. assignments, declarations, etc.).
