This position starts at $14.25 hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift. We have open positions for second shift.

This facility operates six days a week and produces Dry Sausage and Sausage Crumbles.

Job Duties:

Maintain necessary production records and reports, Pre-Op and TQC reports, temporary agency time sheets and any other related paperwork. Help assure that proper on the job training is provided for team members. Provide daily work direction such as coordinating work activities, corrective action or equipment breakdowns. Also address QA and USDA issues and making sure product specifications are achieved. Identify team member performance problems, and inform Supervisor of such. Identify safety issues or hazards and take corrective action. Service as backup for Supervisor in his or her absence.

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must have previous lead experience. Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the past 12 months
