Eastside is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor!
 
Position Responsibilities:  


Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to population served.

Supervises all technical operations specific to department.

Supervises and schedules staff as applicable to department.

Enforces hospital and lab policies.

Represents laboratory on various hospital committees.

Performs duties of Medical Technologist.

Oversee generalist and blood bank duties. 

Participates in new employee orientation and training.','!*!Education

Graduate of an accredited college and NAACLS approved school of medical technology or MT (HEW) with 8 years current work experience in a hospital laboratory setting.
License/Certification

ASCP, NCA, AMT, HEW certification as Medical Technologist and meets supervisor requirements of GDHR.
Experience


Five years experience in clinical laboratory preferred.

One year in a hospital setting preferred.

Point-of-Care testing experience preferred.

Supervisory skills demonstrated.
