: The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music is the nation’s fastest growing community music school and the largest and most comprehensive such institution in Wisconsin. Located at the heart of Milwaukee’s East Side, the area has a thriving culture and arts scene.
Duties
: Teach private lessons, assist with Suzuki group classes as needed, and attend faculty meetings. Faculty members can teach in the Conservatory Connections Program, which offers general music, strings, and other music programming in many schools throughout the Milwaukee area.
Qualifications
: Minimum of a Bachelor of Music degree, teaching experience, and registered Suzuki training. Teacher should also be a performer at a professional level and skilled in teaching young beginners through advancing levels.
Salary
: Commensurate with experience. Teachers are in session for fall and spring semesters of 16-weeks each, as per the Conservatory calendar, and a shorter, more flexible summer session. Full time is possible for the right candidate.
